• We have 5 expectations for music class.

    Make good choices

    Use kind words

Show respect, to classmates, teachers, and music

    Involve yourself

Care for the room and the instruments

Students who do not follow these expectations will first recieve a 1, which is a warning. I will tell them, that's a 1. If they fix their behavior, we move on with class. If they continue in their behavior that doesn't follow expectations, I will give them a two, and say, that's a 2. A 2 is their last warning. If they fix their behavior, we move on with class. If they continue to not make good choices, then I will give them a three and say, that's a 3, you need to give me a time out. They will take five minutes away from the class and think over their behavior, and when their class is picked up from music, I will inform their classroom teacher and send an email home. If they fix their behavior after music class, I will make sure to note that! If they continue to not make good choices that day, they will sit out for the rest of class.

Every day I see students, we get a clean slate and start over.
