¡HOLA!

My name is Ms. Gutiérrez, and I am so excited to start a new school year at Hairston Middle School. I have a BA in English from the  UV (University of Veracruz) in Mexico, and I received a certificate to teach Spanish from the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico ). I  have worked in education for about 6 years and I have been a teacher in China, Mexico, and the USA; I love traveling!

Living abroad has given me the opportunity to make lots of friends from different countries as well as to know and appreciate other cultures. I hope I can inspire my students to learn languages, get out there and enjoy the world.
