    How do I log in?

    1. Go to NCEdCloud.

    2. Type in your username/password

    a. Example: Username – PowerSchool Number (0000000) Password: Fairview1

    b. Students who experience password issues should email their teacher to reset their password. Teacher email addresses can be found on the school website under the Staff link.

    3. Once you get in, click the red Canvas icon.

     

    Create a Parent/Guardian Observer Account for Canvas

    In the student’s Canvas Account accessed via NCEdcloud.

    1. Go to Account by clicking the person icon in the top left of the screen

    2. Then select Settings

    3. Then click the “Pair With Observer” button (lower right of the screen or bottom of the screen depending on device)

    4. Write down the code

     

    Then the parent/guardian creates the account by…

    1. Going to https://gcs.instructure.com/login/canvas (this is not the same link as for students, please make sure you use this link)

    2. Select “Parent of a Canvas User? Click here for an account

    3. Enter your name, email, choose a password, and enter the pairing code (#4 from above)

    4. Start observing!
