    Mission Statement

Northwest Middle Theatre (NW Drama) is dedicated to fostering a love for the performing arts within our school and community. Our mission is to provide a platform for students to explore their creative potential, develop their talents, and engage with the arts through high-quality theatrical productions. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to shine, learn, and grow both on and off the stage.

    Our History

Founded in the 2020-2021 school year, NW Little Theatre was established to bring live theater to our school and community. Despite the challenges of limited live theatre during its initial years, the program flourished with its inaugural musical production of Grease in the spring of 2022. This was followed by successful performances of Our Town in the fall 2022 and Footloose in spring 2023.

Our 2023-2024 season under its new found troupe NW Little Theatre featured Into the Woods JR and 13 The Musical, showcasing the diverse talents of our students.

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming productions for the 2024-2025 season as we merge with NWGHS Theatre Arts, now producing theatre under NW Drama with the Support of Northwest Theatre Boosters.

    Upcoming Productions:

    • Mean Girls JR, presented by GCS Summer Arts and NW Drama, from July 26-28, 2024

    • Matilda JR November 21-23, 2024

    • SpongeBob the Musical April 10-12, 2025

NW Drama remains committed to providing performance opportunities to all students attending Northwest Middle School and High . We look forward to another year of fantastic performances and community engagement. Join us as we continue to inspire and nurture the next generation of performers!
