Hello and welcome to my classroom! My name is Mrs. Rowell and I teach 5th grade at Colfax Elementary! I was formally known as Ms. Peterson, but married my husband in October of 2021. I will be a part of a collaborative team. I am so excited for an amazing year with you! I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Elementary Education and concentration in Mathematics... GO NEERS'. This year, 2022-2023, will be my third year teaching. I previously student taught at Colfax Elementary in a third grade classroom.  I enjoy trying new foods, crafting, going to the beach or lake, and spending time with my family and friends. I can't wait to get to know you and have a wonderful school year!
