Ms. Cousar

  • I am Ms. Cousar. I am extremely excited to be your 6th Grade Counselor for the 2022-2023 Academic School Year. I am originally from Durham, NC where I attended and graduated from Josephine Dobbs Clement Early College High School. Following graduation, I attended the Illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education in 2018, and my Masters Degree in School Counseling in 2021. This is my 5th year in Education. I look forward to working with the Southwest School stakeholders and families.

     I will post via canvas and email parents my Bi-weekly newsletters, student spotlight, birthday announcements, and Student of the Month ( Selected by 2nd Core teachers) here! I will also post via TikTok on Mondays ( Motivation Mondays), Wednesdays ( Wellness Wednesdays), and Fridays (Fun Fridays).  My TikTok Account is @ms.cousar.
