    Good Evening Ragsdale Tigers,

We have a lot of information to share about the start of school.  This announcement will also be posted on our website.  Student schedules were mailed out last week and the only changes permitted are listed on the letter.  Please email your counselor if you have questions.

Orientation sessions will be conducted during the first week of school on Canvas with your teachers.  The schedule is posted on our website.  It gives you multiple opportunities to meet in small groups with your teachers.  It’s important for you to log in to your Canvas courses on a daily basis for updates and for live instruction.  Directions for logging in to Canvas are also posted on our website under the Distance Learning tab.

We strongly encourage ALL students to sign up for their grade level Remind to get text updates.  You only have to sign up once during high school as we move you to the next grade level.  Directions are also on our website at Ragsdale.gcsnc.com.

Students who signed up for the virtual eLearning high school will receive an email from their counselor by this evening for the purpose of enrolling you in your courses.  Please contact your counselor if you have questions.

If you had a device in the spring, we still want you to use that starting this school year.  It may be helpful for you to update the computer by logging on to a GCS network.  You should be able to do this from any GCS school parked near the building.  Logging in on the network automatically updates your device.

The building will be closed to visitors during the day except for scheduled appointments.  If you need to come to the building for any appointment you can call the school at 336.454.7400 or contact the person directly through their email.

We will continue to send out updates on a regular basis so please continue to check our website, log in to Canvas, and sign up for the Remind App.  We know this will be unique in many ways but our goal is to still make it a great experience for everyone!  Go Tigers!
