Michelle Harris Jefferson is a Henderson, NC native. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of NC State University and the author of What Doesn’t Kill You: A Memoir. She is a mother, wife and educator who has served the Guilford County School system since 2010. Over the last decade, she has been recognized as a teacher of the year and ranks amongst the top 25% of teachers in the state of NC. She has also inspired educators across the state at many conferences where she has shared her expertise and worked to empower fellow educators. She is excited to support our students and staff as Curriculum Facilitator.
