Mrs. Whitney Killian

Whitney Killian was born and raised in Michigan, attending Saginaw Valley State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with minors in math and science. After earning her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to Greensboro, where she has lived and worked since. Mrs. Killian has taught in Guilford County Schools for several years, teaching 5th grade, as well as middle school math and science. She served as a mentor, department head, instructional leadership team member, and teacher leader while she was in the classroom. During this time, Mrs. Killian discovered a passion for coaching teachers and extending her impact on the school community. 

 

In the fall of 2019, Mrs. Killian embarked on the journey to obtain her Masters in School Administration from University of North Carolina-Greensboro. After completing her internship during the 2020-2021 school year, Mrs. Killian completed her program and was chosen to join the Mendenhall Mustang family! 

 

Mrs. Killian lives in Greensboro with her husband. In addition to spending time on home improvement projects, they enjoy travelling to Michigan and Buffalo, New York to spend time with family. Mrs. Killian enjoys reading, travelling, attending sporting events and concerts. She is honored to join the Mendenhall team and begin working with families!
