Unit 2 - Foundations of American Government
-
The American experiment with government was heavily influenced by a variety of factors, such as the Enlightenment, the American Revolution, the failures of the Articles of Confederation, and the implementation of the U.S. Constitution overtime. Students will examine how each of the above factors impacted the creation and implementation of the U.S. Constitution. Also, students will investigate how past arguments about the ratification of the U.S. Constitution are still relevant to today's society.
