• Introduction to this course: 

      • ---WHAT IS ART 2 ALL ABOUT?---

        Art 2 focuses on learning about and effectively using the seven Elements of Art: Line, Shape, Form, Value, Color, Space, and Texture.  AND the Principles of Design: Emphasis, Balance and Alignment, Contrast, Repetition, Proportion, Movement and White Space This will this will build off of what you have already learned in previous art courses and provide even stronger foundation to build on in the higher levels of art.  We will work with a variety of art media to cover the basic drawing, design, painting, and printmaking and mixed media techniques. You will also learn how to have a global mindset and how to infuse within your own ideas and artwork.

      When can I work on the course?  

      • Students may work on the course 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The teacher will issue lessons and assignments. Computer and internet access is required. 

      How much time should I spend on the classes? 

      • Time management will be important throughout this course. Each student will learn at a different pace, and the time commitment will be different for all students.

      How do I communicate with my teacher? 

      • Students can use the inbox on Canvas, as well as the contact information on the homepage. If a student contacts a teacher during the week, they can expect a response within 24 hours. Students who contact a teacher over the weekend can expect a response the following Monday.
