• Military Contacts for Ragsdale High School

Entry into any branch starts with you doing the ASVAB.  So, what is the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) and what does it do?

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, or ASVAB, tests your knowledge of basic concepts and skills to date, and it determines what branch and rank in the military you are eligible for. Generally, this is knowledge you would have acquired in high school.  The better you do on the ASVAB the more opportunities you will have within the various branches to pursue a career or MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) so it is important to prepare by using sites such as March2Success.

Ragsdale High School offers the ASVAB onsite each school year. Recruiters from the different branches are also available to speak with students as needed.
