  • Hello Southwest!  I am excited to join the Cowboy community this year as the 10th grade assistant principal.  While I primarily work with 10th graders, I am here to support each student on their journey towards graduation and beyond.

I started my career in education at North Carolina State University (Go PACK!) where I majored in Elementary Education with a concentration in science.  After teaching elementary school in Wake County for several years, I attended UNC-Chapel Hill where I earned my Master's of School Administration, completing a full-time internship at Grimsley Senior High School.  I then served as an assistant princpal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, most recently at Enloe Magnet High School in Wake County.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, cheering on the Wolfpack, and going to the beach.  My hobbies currently include chasing my little one around the house!

I am so happy to call Southwest my new home, and can't wait to establish and foster relationships with each of you this year!
