Greetings Swann Family, Friends, & Community! 

I am beyond excited to serve as the new Assistant Principal of Melvin C. Swann Middle School.  I have worked at the elementary, middle and high school level. I absolutely love working with middle schoolers and their families! I have worked as a teacher assistant, taught middle school for 7 years, was a district dropout prevention specialist, worked as a behavior coach and a principal intern. Leading with love and compassion is a high priority for me. 

I am a proud graduate of UNCG; Go Spartans! I am also a firm believer that teaching, and learning can be personalized and fun for all. I am committed to serving the stakeholders of Swann and looking forward to a great school year!!
