Welcome to the Guilford County Schools Tutoring Department Home Page!!  High-dosage tutoring, or tutoring that occurs with regular frequency [3-5 times per week], is more likely to positively impact student outcomes, while mentorships with tutors can build social and emotional supports, as well as get students back on track.  When done well, with intentional training and with high quality instructional materials, tutoring can be more effective than more than 80% of other academic interventions.
