Mrs. Natalya Moore
Natalya Moore is an educational leader with 17 years of experience and currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Walter Hines Page High School. Prior to her role at Page, Ms. Moore worked on the district level as the Literacy Supervisor for 27 high schools and as a high school Curriculum Facilitator. Her goal is to enhance teaching practices that positively impact student outcomes.
After 12 years of teaching historically marginalized students, Ms. Moore is committed to promoting equity and diversity in education, ensuring that all students have access to high-quality instruction. During that time, she was recognized as Rookie Teacher of the Year and an Extraordinary Educator presented by High Point Discovered and The High Point School Alliance. With a strong belief in the power of education to transform lives as it did for her, Ms. Moore continues to inspire and motivate others in their pursuit of "becoming."
Ms. Moore is the proud graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications and a Master's degree in English and African American Literature. Aggie Pride! She is a wife and a mom with her biggest accomplishment being cultivating her two daughters.
