Title IX

  • The Guilford County Board of Education acknowledges the dignity and worth of all students and employees and strives to create a safe, orderly, caring, and inviting school environment to facilitate student learning and achievement. The Board will not tolerate sexual harassment in the education program and activities of the District. The Board takes seriously all reports and formal complaints of sexual harassment.

This Title IX sexual harassment policy specifically prohibits sexual harassment as that term is defined under Title IX and directs the Superintendent to establish a formal complaint grievance process that is designed to achieve prompt and equitable resolution of complaints of sexual harassment in accordance with the requirements of Title IX.
