    Summer Reading

Even when the school library is closed, there are multiple ways you can access reading materials (check out our Books & eBooks section). Whether it's online or through the public library, we want you to keep reading because readers are leaders! You can check for Battle of the Books selections, award winners and more.

PreK-12th grade students can record the minutes they read over the break in Beanstack  for an opportunity to earn one free General Admission ticket to Kersey Valley.

Kersey valley logo with tagline Live your adventure!

Students must read at least 900 minutes between June 10 and August 22 to earn the opportunity to win the prize! That's only 30 minutes a day for 30 days!

Reading minutes must be logged in Beanstack by September 8 to be eligible for the free ticket. Students who cannot record their minutes over summer break can enter them in Beanstack when they return to school in August.

Go to clever.com/in/GCS, then click on the Beanstack icon to get started! Or, head to the Google Play Store or Apple Store to download the Beanstack App on your mobile device.
