I'm the youngest of four children and I grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I love spending time at the beach and bingeing TV. I have a medium goldendoodle that has me wrapped around her finger! I graduated from UNCG in 2012 with a middle school math and social studies degree. I've been a middle school math teacher for 10 years. I taught 5 years in Asheboro City Schools teaching 8th grade math and Math 1. For the last five years I've been teaching at Northwest Guilford Middle School in Guilford County Schools teaching 7th grade math and Accelerated 7th grade math. In the Summer of 2021 I graduated UNCG with my Master's in Middle Grades Math. I'm so excited to be teaching Math 1 this year at Northwest High School. I love math and teaching students is my passion. I'm grateful for this opportunity to teach your child and looking forward to a great year!
