GEAR UP: Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs

  • The US Department of Education GEAR UP grant promotes college-going culture for all students, beginning in middle school and continuing through the second year of post-secondary education. College includes professional certifications, community college and four-year institutions. 

     GCS is partnering with Winston-Salem State University, focusing on students at six GCS middle schools. Read more about the grant here.
