Hi there!  I'm Ms. V.N. Bonner, and I teach Advanced 7th Grade ELA at Brown Summit Middle School.

In my classes, we focus on the small details of literature and informational text to deepen our understanding and comprehension.  We have a particular focus on theme, main idea, and the importance and effect of the choices authors make in their word choice, sentence structure, and included details. We write often and with purpose to express ourselves and show our analytical and evaluative thinking.
