Users are prompted to reset their GCS passwords periodically to help create a safe and secure digital environment. 

Best practices for creating a password:

• Do not use names, birthdays, or anniversaries in your passwords

• Avoid using strings of numbers (1234567) or common phrases (iloveyou)

• Make your password at least 9 characters long - for increased security, make it 12 characters long

• Include all four character types:

  • Uppercase letters

  • Lowercase letters

  • Numbers

  • Special Characters

Always remember - never share passwords (yours or students) digitally - email, Microsoft Teams, or text! Even for students.
