All students receive a GCS Chromebook after successful completion of the GCS Responsible Use course (accessed via Canvas and teacher directed during school hours) as well as school receipt of the signed APPENDIX F: GUILFORD COUNTY SCHOOLS ANNUAL TECHNOLOGY AGREEMENT (pp. 171-173 of the 2023-2024 GCS Student & Family Handbook) distributed to students and collected by homeroom teachers. Students will be able to take home their GCS issued device but repeated violations of the technology agreement or the acceptable use policy will result in the Chromebook being kept at the school and the student becoming a day user only.
