Mrs. Branon

My name is Ellen Branon and this is my 8th year teaching and my 1st year at SWE. Previously I’ve taught 2nd and 3rd grade and have absolutely loved working with these grade levels. I live in Kernersville with my husband who is a financial advisor. I grew up in Ohio but have lived in NC for almost 15 years. I love to travel, read, cook, and spend time with family. I am looking forward to a great year working with the students, families, and staff here at Southwest!I am so excited for what this year holds. I love to create a community in which we collaborate, make mistakes, get messy, and learn it all! My hope is that I can instill a curiosity about the world in my students. I enjoy watching students grow and celebrating all their successes!
