Hello, my name is Mrs. McCoin!

Thanks for visiting my school webpage. I have been teaching social studies in Guilford County Schools since 2014. I joined the Hive at Western Guilford High School in 2022.

Students! You will need to bring your interactive notebook and GCS Chromebook every day. Remember that classes are hosted in Canvas, so you will log in there to submit most assignments. Grades will be posted in Canvas and appear in PowerSchool as well. You can also watch the daily livestreams and recordings of our class through Microsoft Teams. 

For AP classes, the required College Board exam for World History is May 11, 2022. Here's the link to College Board's page for AP World History: Modern.
