  • Hi My Stokesdale Friends!  If you are having trouble getting along with your brother or sister or both, please know that you are not alone. Everybody in a family sometimes gets on each other’s nerves.

    1. Barges into my room without knocking.
    2. Tattles on me.
    3. Teases me, calls me names, says mean things.
    4. Takes my stuff without asking.
    5. Bosses me around.
    6. Follows me everywhere and wants to do everything I want to do.
    7. Punches or kicks me to get what he or she wants.
    8. Breaks, ruins, or loses my stuff.
    9. Blames me for everything and gets me in trouble even if I don’t do anything.
    10. Gets all the attention.

    If you could say yes to any of the sentences listed above, then you need to focus on my next list!!

    1. Helps me with things like homework or chores.
    2. Gives me good advice when I have a problem.
    3. Shares toys, clothes, and other things with me.
    4. Sticks up for me when I am being teased.
    5. Teaches me new things like how to do different sports.
    6. Listens to my secrets, hopes, and fears.
    7. Knows me better than anyone else does.
    8. Cheers me up when I feel sad.
