Mr. Domieka Cantey

Mr. Domieka Cantey is a dedicated educational professional currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Walter Hines Page High School in North Carolina.  Mr. Cantey has 22 years of educational experience spanning all three Academic Levels. Mr. Cantey has a proven track record of success as an Assistant Principal. Prior to this role at Page High School, Mr. Cantey was the Assistant Principal at Welborn Middle School. Under his leadership, Welborn moved a letter grade from an F to a D and exceeded expected growth for 3 consecutive years. Mr. Cantey is passionate about transforming lives through education.

Mr. Cantey is a proud alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a master’s degree in School Administration from this university. Personally, Mr. Cantey is an initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., an ordained minister and Youth Pastor, a tech lover, and a DJ.  Mr. Cantey is the proud husband of Joy, and father of Darius, Gabriel and Lily Grace Cantey.
