Good evening Murphey families! Please listen carefully for this week's updates

Safety Updates
Parents, please remember that if you need to change your child's afternoon transportation, you should send a written note to their teacher. In addition, please refrain from calling the school after 2pm. Our office staff participates in supervising students as we dismiss and may not be able to answer the phones during this busy time of the day. Thank you for helping to keep our dismissal procedures smooth and efficient.

We have an exciting week this week, as we will be celebrating our positive student culture and behavior. On Wednesday, Oct. 19th we will be celebrating unity day and are asking all students to wear orange. This will show our solidarity around anti-bullying and kindness. On Friday, Oct. 21st we will have our PBIS celebration and students are invited to dress like their favorite book character.

Thank you to those of you who have participated so far in our Parent-Teacher conferences. If you have not had a conference with your child's teacher, please schedule one as soon as possible, as you will not receive your child's report card until a parent-teacher conference is held. First quarter ends on Oct. 27th and we will have report card pickup on Nov. 7th from 5-6 pm. Actualizaciones de seguridad: Padres, recuerden que si necesitan cambiar el transporte de la tarde de su hijo, deben enviar una nota escrita a su maestro. Además, absténgase de llamar a la escuela después de las 2 pm. Nuestro personal de oficina participa en la supervisión de los estudiantes a medida que despedimos y es posible que no podamos contestar los teléfonos durante este momento ocupado del día. Gracias por ayudar a mantener nuestros procedimientos de despido sin problemas y eficientes.
Tenemos una semana emocionante, ya que celebraremos nuestra cultura y comportamiento estudiantil positivo. El miércoles 19 de octubre celebraremos el día de la unidad y pediremos a todos los estudiantes que se vistan de anaranjado. Esto mostrará nuestra solidaridad en torno a la lucha contra la intimidación y apoyo a la amabilidad. El viernes 21 de octubre tendremos nuestra celebración PBIS y los estudiantes están invitados a vestirse como su personaje favorito de su libro favorito.

Gracias a aquellos de ustedes que han participado hasta ahora en nuestras conferencias de padres y maestros. Si no ha tenido una conferencia con el maestro de su hijo, programe una lo antes posible, ya que no recibirá la boleta de calificaciones de su hijo hasta que se lleve a cabo una conferencia de padres y maestros. El primer trimestre termina el 27 de octubre y tendremos una recogida de boletas de calificaciones el 7 de noviembre de 5 a 6 pm.
