Good evening Murphey families. Thank you all so much for coming out to pick up your free dessert pie this past Wednesday. We had over 50 students to show up and pick up their pies just in time for Thanksgiving. Our social worker Ms. Pettis and our community sponsors, the Presbyterian Church and were responsible for this event and we appreciate them and you.

We have 3 full weeks of instruction before winter break and it is imperative that your child is at school every day ON TIME. We will be sending permission forms home with students this week so that they can bring their devices home over winter break if they are missing work. But please remember that the best way for them to get their teaching and learning is for them to be at school every day on time!

Looking ahead, on December 13th, our 3-5 students will participate in our Winter Concert. It is the first one we've had in over 2 years and I am excited that our students will be partnering with those 3-5 students from Foust elementary. The concert will begin at 6pm on December 13th and we hope to see all of our 3-5 parents in attendance.

Buenas noches familias de Murphey. Muchas gracias a todos por venir a recoger su pastel de postre gratis el miércoles pasado. Tuvimos más de 50 estudiantes para presentarse y recoger sus pasteles justo a tiempo para el Día de Acción de Gracias. La trabajadora social Pettis y nuestros patrocinadores comunitarios, la Iglesia Presbiteriana fueron responsables de este evento y los apreciamos a ellos y a usted.

Tenemos 3 semanas completas de instrucción antes de las vacaciones de invierno y es imperativo que su hijo esté en la escuela todos los días A TIEMPO. Enviaremos formularios de permiso a casa con los estudiantes esta semana para que puedan llevar sus computadoras a casa durante las vacaciones de invierno si faltan hacer sus tareas. ¡Pero recuerde que la mejor manera de que puedan aprender es que estén en la escuela todos los días a tiempo!

Mirando hacia el futuro, el 13 de diciembre, nuestros estudiantes de 3-5 participarán en nuestro Concierto de Invierno. Es el primero que hemos tenido en más de 2 años y estoy emocionado de que nuestros estudiantes se asocien con esos estudiantes de 3 a 5to de la escuela de Foust. El concierto comenzará a las 6 pm el 13 de diciembre y esperamos ver a todos nuestros padres de 3 a 5 presentes.
