Service Learning Info for 2023-2024

• Grade level ECA service learning meetings will hopefully take place after AP exams

• Students will receive an accountability form from Ms. Farkas to review at home and both student and family/guardians will be required to sign and return

  • Form will be made available on the Dudley website as well

  • Can be scanned an emailed

• All hours for the 2022-23 school year HAVE to be logged by June 30, 2023

  • Moving forward, hours must be logged yearly beginning from July 1 to June 30 

  • Special consideration will be made for hours completed during June (as this is a new practice, details will need to be ironed out)

• Students MUST submit a student service learning form BEFORE beginning a personal project (found on Dudley’s website, GCS website and in X2VOL)

  • Detail must be provided for each portion with a minimum of 3 sentences

  • Family members cannot be verifiers

  • Students cannot participate in school events then log them as personal projects

• The handbook and the SL form for teachers and students is being updated by the county and will be available in June (please rely on the current forms and handbook available)
