Mr. Edward Teasley I
A native of Salisbury, NC Mr. Teasley comes to Ben L Smith entering his 24th year in education and 14th year as an Assistant Principal. Throughout his career as an AP with Guilford County Schools, he has worked at Southeast Guilford High and Welborn Academy. Mr. Teasley began his GCS career at Dudley High School, where he served as a math teacher and head coach for the cross country and track and field team.
Mr. Teasley comes from an Aggie family. Besides his Chemical Engineering degree conferred in 1995, his sister (BSN, 2022), oldest son (Edward, BS 2019 Comp Sci, MS 2022 Comp Tech) and his middle son (William, BS 2023 Industrial and Systems Engineering) exude the spirit of Aggie Pride daily. There is also a little Spartan Dawg as Mr. Teasley earned his Masters of Arts in K12 Administration from Michigan State University in 2005.
Mr Teasley looks forward to sharing his time and talents at the Eagle's Nest. When not working towards helping all students have positive outcomes, he can be found riding a bicycle either on a trail or on the road; announcing a track meet, basketball game or football game; officiating a track meet; or, serving the Burlington Community with his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
