Good evening, Washington families this is principal Paul Travers with your weekly message.

I hope all of our Washingtonians are well rested and excited for the start of the school year. We are looking forward to seeing all our Washingtonians out for Open House and this Thursday. Open house is a chance for you to come into the building meet your classroom teacher, view your classroom, and get questions answered.

This year we will have an open house in two sessions. The first session for open house will begin at 5:00 PM and will go until 5:50 PM. This session will be for all students with a last name that begins with the letter A - N. The second session will begin at 6:00PM and go until 6:50PM. This session will be for all Washingtonians with the last name that begins with the letters M-Z. We hope that the two sessions will help reduce congestion in our parking lot. As you navigate through Open House, please be sure to sign up for our school wide Class Dojo and visit the cafeteria so that you get a chance to view the many Health and Wellness Pathways that will be offered for all of our 2nd - 5th grade students.

As you make your way through Open House, please take some time to reflect with your Washingtonian what their goals are for this school year. This school year we want to be very intentional about getting better each day.
