Greetings from Western Guilford High School!

First, I want to thank you for taking the time to read this message. My name is Emily Parsons, and I am the new School Social Worker here at WGHS.

At WGHS, we believe that the "WE" in WEstern is what makes us great, and we’d love to have you join this amazing community!

There are several ways you and your organization can get involved with Hornet Nation:

1. Sign up for our monthly community partners’ newsletter – I will send this out at the beginning of every month, highlighting the great things happening at the Hive.

2. Join the WGHS Helping Hands email list – When emergency family needs arise, I will send a brief overview to this list. If it’s something you or your organization can assist with, simply respond, and I will follow up.

3. Share your community events – We can help promote your events to Hornet Nation.

4. Help provide needed supplies – Check the newsletter for more information on how you can support.

5. Connect with one of our student clubs – A list of clubs is attached. Feel free to reach out to me, and I’ll help connect you with the right club.

6. Support our WGHS athletes – Each month, I’ll include the athletics schedule with the newsletter so you can come out and cheer for our Hornets.
