This Friday students are encouraged to wear their favorite boots or shoes for Bully and Drug awareness month.

Your weekly Health and Wellness tip is: Promote healthy drink choices like water and milk. Limit or eliminate sugar-sweetened and caffeinated beverages. Caffeine can increase your child's heart rate and blood pressure, interrupt sleep and cause nervousness and irritability.

Looking ahead our 4th and 5th graders will be taking a field trip to Kersey Valley Maize Adventure on October 23rd, and fall individual pictures are on October 30th.

At Washington we Honor Community, Show Excellence and Think Critically.

Have a great evening and let’s get 1% Better Every Day.
