Good evening MTA families! Here are this week's updates.
Thank you so much for all of your support for the last couple of weeks, as we have celebrated our commitment to both anti-bullying and saying no to drugs with Red Ribbon week. This week, students are expected to be in uniform. As a reminder our uniform is navy blue or blue jean bottoms with no holes or rips and a red, white, royal or navy blue collared shirt. Parents, please note that if students are not in uniform, you will be contacted and asked to bring them a uniform. Please also note that khakis are NOT a part of our school uniform. Thank you for helping us to get back in the groove of our uniform expectations.
Coming up this week Our 4th and 5th grade group "Girls Like Me" will have their very 1st meeting on this Tuesday during lunch at 12:00 pm in the art classroom. Please note that only girls that have brought back their permission form will be able to participate. This opportunity is extended to all 4th and 5th grade girls.
Tuesday also marks the last day of the 1st quarter and teachers will be finalizing grades this week. Parents, if you have not had a teacher conference yet, please schedule one as soon as possible. Students will not be able to get their 1st quarter report cards if you have not conferenced with their teacher. Thursday, Nov. 2nd and Friday, Nov. 3rd are teacher workdays and students do not have school. This is the perfect time to schedule a conference with your child's teacher if you have not already. You will be able to pick up your child's report card on Nov. 14th from 5 to 7pm. We look forward to having a great 3-day week this week. Thank you and have a great evening.
