• Professional Development

Continuous learning and growth are key to providing the best support to our students. School staff receive ongoing professional development and training to stay updated on the best practices in supporting students’ mental health. This ensures they have the necessary knowledge and skills to identify progress and make appropriate adjustments.

Youth Mental Health First Aid:  An early intervention program designed to teach adults how to recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a mental health challenge, how to listen nonjudgmentally and give reassurance to a youth who may be experiencing a mental health challenge, and how to refer the youth to appropriate professional support and services.

The goal of the district is to create a healthier and more effective educational environment for everyone. Together let's build a community where staff members feel supported, empowered, and equipped to thrive both personally and professionally.
