Good afternoon, Washington families,

This is principal Paul Travers with a Winter Break announcement.

We have great news, Beyond Sports has provide us with some free tickets to the Greensboro Swarm vs. the Windy City Bulls tomorrow at 1:00pm. At the conclusion of the game, Dillard Elite Basketball will be hosting a basketball clinic for all Washingtonians in attendance.  The clinic will take place on the Swarm game court and will last until approximately 5:00 pm. All Washington students are eligible while tickets last. Each family will receive one free adult ticket. Adult must be able to stay with their child during the game and the clinic. If you would like for your Washingtonian to participate, please text me at 336.690.3921. In the text include your name, your Washingtonian(s) name. I will send you a link to sign up for your electronic tickets.

Don’t forget about the 2023 Winter Reading Challenge

Students must read at least 300 minutes between December 22^nd and January 1^st to earn the opportunity to win a prize! That's only 30 minutes a day for 10 days! Reading minutes must be logged in Beanstack by January 12 to be eligible for a prize.

As a reminder, school starts back on January 3rd. Doors will open ant 7:25am and our school day begins at 7:45am.
