• Good evening, Washington families,

     

    This is principal Paul Travers with your weekly message.

    A huge shout out to all the Washingtonians who came out this past Saturday our Matinee Movie and Summer Camp Fair.

     

    Tuesday, March 5, is the statewide primary election, and our school will be used as a polling location. To avoid any potential safety issues, students will learn remotely on Tuesday, March 5. Students will take home devices on Monday and will log in to Canvas on Tuesday for the day’s lessons. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for pickup using a drive-through process on our campus from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. We will return to the building the following day, on March 6.

     

    Tuesday our School-Based Leadership team will meet at 3:00 PM in the Media Center.

    On Wednesday, our 1st -5th graders will take their reading NWEA assessment. Our SAS after school clubs for Wednesday are, Hip-hop dance, sign language and football on

     

    Thursday after school SAS clubs are tiny taste buds and fairy tales in action.

     

    Your weekly health and Wellness tip for this week is: Get your body moving by adding activity into your daily routine: Turn boring tasks into fun challenges. Have cleaning races, dance while you cook, or create obstacle courses with laundry baskets and pillows.

    Looking ahead on February 21st third quarter interim reports will go home, and spring pictures are on February 27th.
