Good evening MTA families! Thank you for your diligence in completing the magnet applications for next year. While the magnet window has closed, you may still apply for magnet programs and starting on May 1st you are able to apply for reassignment if you would like for your child to attend another neighborhood school. Please be advised that if you apply and are granted school reassignment, transportation may not be provided.

Looking ahead into this week, we will have our First Friday awards on this Friday, March 1st. We will be celebrating students' reading, math, character, and perfect attendance.  We hope that you will join us via Zoom for our First Friday celebration.

Please save the date for Saturday April 6th. This will be our last Mayberry Reading Festival and we hope everyone will join us as we celebrate reading around the world. We will see you all bright and early in the morning. Please remember that students should arrive before 7:45 so that they are not tardy for teaching and learning. Thank you and have a great evening!

¡Buenas noches familias de Murphey! Gracias por su diligencia en completar las solicitudes magnet para el próximo año. Si bien la ventana magnet se ha cerrado, aún puede solicitar programas magnet y, a partir del 1 de mayo, puede solicitar la reasignación si desea que su hijo asista a otra escuela del vecindario. Tenga en cuenta que si solicita y se le concede la reasignación de escuela, es posible que no se le proporcione transporte.

Mirando a esta semana, tendremos nuestros premios del Primer Viernes este viernes 1 de marzo. Celebraremos la lectura, las matemáticas, el carácter y la asistencia perfecta de los estudiantes.  Esperamos que se unan a nosotros a través de Zoom para nuestra celebración del Primer Viernes.

Por favor, reserve la fecha para el sábado 6 de abril. Este será nuestro último Festival de Lectura de Mayberry y esperamos que todos se unan a nosotros mientras celebramos la lectura alrededor del mundo. Los veremos a todos a primera hora de la mañana. Recuerde que los estudiantes deben llegar antes de las 7:45 para que no lleguen tarde a la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. ¡Gracias y que tengas una feliz noche!
