• Good evening, Washington families,


    This is principal Paul Travers with your weekly message. 


    Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Washington mothers. 


    This week is Physical Education Water Week. Students should bring a change of clothes and a towel on the day they have PE. Tomorrow, the following classes have PE: Mr. Tolson, Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Frenia, Ms. Napoleon, Ms. Wellmaker and Mr. Perkins.


    Tomorrow and Tuesday our Golf pathway will be headed to the Gillespie Park golf course for after school practice.


    On Tuesday, our School Based Leadership Team will meet at 3:00pm  in the media center.  Also, on Tuesday we have a PTO meeting at 5:30pm in the meeting center.


    On Wednesday, Dudley High School seniors will be coming to Washington for their Graduation Walk.


    On Thursday, our Washington basketball team will be playing against the Greensboro Police Department at the YMCA.


    Friday, we will have our PBIS celebration and shopping.


    Looking ahead, End of Grade testing will begin on May 24th. The last day for the school year will be on Friday, June 7th. 


    Your Health and Wellness trip for this week is: Children need a ride variety of food for a will balance diet. The amount of physical activity they do in a day will be important to determining how much they need to eat.
