•  Good evening, Washington families,

This is Principal Paul Travers with your weekly Message.

Thank you to Coach Jones for getting our Washingtonians moving with Water in PE Week. Please check out our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages for pictures.

On Monday and Tuesday of this week our Golf Pathway will head to Gillespie Park Golf Course for their last two sessions of the school year.

This Friday is the 1st day of EOG testing. Students in grades 3-5 will be taking their Reading End-of-Grade Assessment. Please be sure that students are practicing good sleep habits for the whole week so that they are well rested and ready to show what they know.

Looking ahead, there will be no school next Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day.

Your weekly Health and Wellness Tip for this week is:

Establish a regular sleep schedule for your child, including both bedtime and wake-up time, and stick to it as much as possible, even on weekends. This helps regulate their natural sleep-wake cycle, making it easier for them to fall asleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

At Washington we Honor Community, Show Excellence, and Think Critically. Have a great evening and I look forward to getting 1% Better with you every day this week!
