What Is GCS Flex?

    In Guilford County Schools, we believe in the power of choice. We are pleased to invite homeschool high school students and their families to enroll in GCS Flex. 

    GCS Flex is a new free program that allows homeschool high school students to access rigorous academic courses from qualified and caring teachers and staff at their assigned high school. Click here to access the 2024-2025 High School Registration Book.

    At the same time, students can also earn career certifications on a broad range of topics, including cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, aviation, pharmacy and more.   

    While enrolled in the GCS Flex program, homeschool students can also take advantage of courses online and at the local community college through the Career & College Promise (CCP) program.  

    Students will have access to extra and co-curricular activities, athletics, JROTC, learning hubs and mental health services at their assigned high school.
