General Information

  • Morning Meetings start at 8:15. The link will be in your teacher's Canvas page. For middle school, look for the homeroom Canvas page.

    Here's how to get there:

    Log in to Clever to access your online resources: https://bit.ly/GCSCleverLogIn

    Click on the Teams icon and sign into teams:

    Your email address is StudentID@stu.gcsnc.com. The password is your birthdate. Ex 12345678@stu.gcsnc.com; 07072003.

    Open Canvas to see your classes. If you aren't seeing all of your classes in Canvas, go to the book icon on the left and click All courses.

    Start with your Homeroom class for the Teams link to your morning meeting.

    Go back to the Clever portal and open Microsoft Office Portal and Google Drive so you have those ready to go if your teacher gives you a link to follow.

iPad Information

  • Remember you will have to log in with the Z-scaler app every time you change wifis.

    Use Safari to open the Clever portal at https://bit.ly/GCSCleverLogIn. The login is the Student ID and the password is the birthdate.

    Keep the Clever portal tab open in Safari all day.

    All apps that are available to put on the iPads are in Self Service. There is a Clever app available but right now it is not linking to the correct web page.

    If Teams isn't working correctly, go to Self Service and reinstall it.

Chromebook information

  • If you are having trouble hearing or speaking in Teams or using the Teams chat (if the teacher has it enabled), leave the meeting and come back. That will often fix the issue.
