  • MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

    Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019

    *Mock Trial will meet in Room 906 on Wednesday, Nov. 13th after school.

    *There will be a Science Olympiad meeting in Room 605 on Friday, November 15th, for just a few minutes to choose events so that we can begin preparing for the competition.  Next week we will begin regular meetings, so stop by on Friday to get the Remind code and more information.

    *Dimes for A CURE! Please support this worthy cause for the American Cancer Society and BRING IN YOUR DIMES111 Bottles are located I the following locations:  Main Office, Guidance Office, and some Classrooms.

    *Club pictures will be this Friday in the Big Gym.  Students must obtain a ticket from each club they participate in.  These tickets will have the picture times for clubs on them and serve as student’s pass out of class.  Students without a ticket will not be permitted to take pictures.  Tickets will be distributed to Club advisors on Wednesday.

    *Attention, Page High School DECA members who are competing on Nov. 20th @ the District Competition:  We will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 13th, in room 301 @ 4pm to take your exam for the competition.  Please be on time so we can all start at 4.  Be sure to practice on quizizz.com, codes were sent in the Groupme chat.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Pridgen.

    Applications for DECA are still being accepted.  We are looking for competitive students who have an entrepreneurial mindset and an eye for business.  Joining DECA is a great way to get your foot in the door in the business world, especially with DECA’s corporate partners.  Please see Mrs. Pridgen in room 301 with any questions. 

    *Auditions for the spring musical, The Wiz, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5th from 4-7pm in room 911.  A memorized monologue is required.  Call backs will be Friday, Dec. 6th.

    *November is National Career Development Month.  This year, Page HS will host a Career Cluster Fair on Tuesday Nov.19th in the media center, from 10-11 am.  Students are encouraged to dress business casual for the event and bring copies for their resumes.  Students are required to register to attend the event.  The registration link is on the Page website or see Ms. Yancey in room 304 by Nov. 15th @ 4pm.

    *FBLA will have an important meeting today afterschool in room 201.

    *Attention Spanish National Honor Society members!!!  The meeting scheduled for today at 4 pm has been moved to the school auditorium.

    *Herff Jones will be on campus Tuesday, November 19th during all 3 lunches to assist seniors with ordering the caps, gowns, and senior materials.

    If you missed the senior assembly yesterday, you can pick up order forms and brochures in the front office or in room 208.  Prices for caps and gowns will start going up in January, so order now and save money!
