Summer Work Hours
We wanted to make you aware that Guilford County Schools will be on its summer schedule from Monday, June 20 through Friday, Aug. 19. During the summer schedule, we will be open to the public Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The district offices, including Southeast, will be closed on Fridays.
Student Schedules 2022-23
Schedules for the 2022-23 school year will be mailed by July 28 along with a schedule change form. If a student is requesting a change in schedule that is different from what was selected during their Spring registration a schedule change form must be returned to the front office by August 4. Schedule change requests will not be available over the phone or via email. After this period, schedule changes will be extremely limited and require administrative approval.
Listed below are the Counseling responsibilities for 2022-23:
Mrs. Katy Gant: Student last names A-E
Ms. Lindsey Vega: Student last names F-K
Ms. Christine Albright: Student last names L-R
Ms. Shari Manning: Student last names S-Z
- Summer Workouts: All sports physicals for student-athletes trying out for Fall sports should be turned in by July 1. If any student-athlete is participating in a summer skill development sports activity (football workouts, basketball summer league, soccer workouts… etc), your current physical must be approved by an athletic trainer.
- We will be using a new electronic program for eligibility for the next school year. Coaches will be providing student-athletes information about DragonFly during summer workouts.
Senior Portraits 2021-22
Senior portraits by Prestige will be in the SEHS Gym on June 28th, June 29th, and June 30th. You should have been contacted by Prestige through the mail with an appointment time. Please make sure to follow the appointment time on the card so that they may stay on schedule. Formal pictures will be on-site in the New Gym, then students will take environmental photos at Hagan Stone Park. Students are welcome to bring a change of outfits and props for their photos. There will be additional information in the Senior Newsletter
If you have not returned your Chromebooks please return them to the school by Wednesday, June 15 to the front office. We need these devices so they can be updated for the next school year.
North Carolina law requires students entering the 12th grade be required to have a booster (second dose) of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine if they have not already received one. Most of you may have completed this immunization requirement but may need to get the paperwork to the school. If you have paperwork that needs to be provided to the school, please contact our school registrar Andrea Snyder.
