• Important message related to TRANSPORTATION and SCHOOL SCHEDULES
Given current bus driver shortages in light of the surge in COVID-19 cases across our community, we have some changes in school schedules for tomorrow, Friday, January 7th. Elementary schools will start on time but some buses will be late. Parents should check the Here Comes the Bus app for the most up to date information.
Middle schools will start an hour late and high school and early/middle colleges will start an hour and half late. However, buildings will be open, and teachers will be on site. All staff should report on time. Parents can drop off students at the normal time and walkers can arrive at the normal time.
This information and updates are posted on the district website, will be shared on the News tonight, and has been sent via connectEd message from the district. If you have any questions, then please call the main office at: 336-697-3070.

Spotlight

Our fifth grade students, Samya Beach and Sifa Safari, participated in a statewide music project consisting of a 100 voices of elementary, middle and high school students. The composer of “We Rise” is Adam Mitchell, an elementary music teacher in Kernersville, NC. We are so proud of Samya and Sifa. Enjoy!
