Financial Transparency
Guilford County Schools takes our responsibility to the public as stewards of public funds seriously, and GCS is proud of our track record of excellence in financial management and transparency. Our annual financial reports have earned the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO International) and Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) certificates of excellence for three decades.
Excellence in financial stewardship is part of our Strategic Direction. Among our Shared Commitments are: making investments that address historical inequities and operating efficiently to maximize resources for students.
