Neighborhood Schools

An outstanding education that’s community-focused and close by

Every Guilford County family is assigned a neighborhood school where students are guaranteed access to an outstanding education with high-quality, credentialed teachers who are committed to high standards of teaching and learning. We design our schools and programs to be places where students can explore a robust foundation of learning, experience a sense of belonging, build their identity and contribute to their school community. While proof of residency is required, no application is necessary. Families with students in grades Pre-K through 12 have a guaranteed right to enroll in their assigned neighborhood school at any point in the year.

Are you a Dudley High School Panther, a Northern Guilford Middle School Nighthawk or a Sternberger Elementary World-Changer?

Visit the School Locator page to find out your assigned school and take the next step toward joining your new school home!
