Welcome to 7th grade ELA/SS! This is my 1st year at Northwest Middle School, and I am excited to begin my "Viking Era"!  I am a proud graduate of UNCG, with a degree in Middle Grades Education and minors in Reading, Math, and Social Studies. I am so excited to share my love of reading with all my students! I grew up in Jefferson, North Carolina, and live in Greensboro with my husband, Scott, and my daughter, Emma. We have two cats named Coco and Marshmallow. This will be my 30th year teaching middle school with Guilford County Schools. My family keeps me extremely busy! I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. 

I am so excited to meet my new Viking families and welcome you to my classroom. I will upload important documents and daily schedules on my Canvas page.
