My name is Melania Montoya and I have been a science teacher for 8 years. I really enjoy teaching science because I get to witness the Aha! moments that students experience when they are exposed to phenomena and discover new things on their own. I believe that students enjoy learning by doing science which is why we engage in several hands-on activities, collaborative assignments with a mixture of independent tasks. My teaching goal is to expose students to a variety of instructional resources to be able to tackle different learning styles.
